Default Quick rim question

So I tried to do some researching but I couldn't find much, I'm looking into getting some rims next year hopefully for my birthday. The only thing is I don't know anything about backspacing and offset. So hopefully someone can help me out. I want a rim that's gunna make my tires stick out past the fenders about 1.5"-2". So my question is what backspacing/offset should I look for to make them stick out that far? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Nine inch wide wheel with 4.5 bs and a -12 offset will do the trick. Not sure if you are 4wd but if so with a level and negative offset wheels 33s will be the largest tire you can fit without trimming. Anything less than a +35 offset with a nine inch wide wheel will stick out more than stock.

Well you should still be able to get away with close to 33, just may require minimal trimming.

I have some 285/70-17 nitto terra grapplers on my truck right now.
I was looking at pro comps 1069 polished rims
They are -6mm offset and 4.75" backspacing. Would that give me the look I'm going for?

Yep, just know that you may have to trim a little. Should just be plastic. On the following thread page 9 there are a couple trucks with what appears to be around 4.5 inch bs wheels. Bshipe22 is also a member (former) on here that had 2wd with 3 inch level and -12 offset and 35s, so it is possible with minor trimming

Yeah like Jerry said, you will be fine with those wheels and your 285's. It will look good.
