Default Question on rims

Ive decided to go with the AS 2" leveling kit. And im thinking about the moto metal 951 18x9 with 4.5 backspacing and 285/65-18 nitto trail grapplers. Will I have to deal with alot of rubbing with this setup?

Thanks,

I would bump the back spacing to 5.5 to be safe.

So if I go with the 5.5 backspacing how far will they stick from the fenders?

5.5 is stock..it depends how wide of tire you buy.

Going from the stock 7.5" 5.5BS to a 9" 5.5"BS will move the outside edge of the rim out 1.5", add in half of the increase of the tire width and there's how much it will change.

So I just went with a 18x9 +18mm backspacing which is about 5.7 or so. You can see all of my mod's in my signature. Here is a post which I created when I originally got my wheels and tires. It showes how far the tires stick out and the areas I had to trim. My tires are also 297/70R18 not 285/65R18.

This should give you an idea for your setup.
