Default Question on Programmers

I've been searching for a while trying to decide what kind of programmer I want. I have a CAI and exhaust so I was thinking Gryphon CS so I can custom tune it, but every time I look for them somewhere, I find the Edge CS. Can someone tell me if these are the same, or if Gryphon is made by Edge? Also, where could I buy one from? I'm confused

Gryphon is a reprogrammed edge. Do a search for PHP. They are suppose to do good work and are a stand up company. If you already have an edge you can send it to PHP and they will turn it in to a Gryphon. Enjoy, you won't regret some custom tunes.

Thanks, I've been looking on their website and couldn't figure it out. So are you saying that if I bought an Edge, I could send it to them and have it reprogrammed? How much would that cost?

I think its around $25 plus the cost for custom tunes but shoot them an e-mail and they should get you set up. Unless you already have an edge I think it would be faster and cheaper to just get the gryphon then buying an edge and then shipping it to PHP.

as a reference... this is the page of php gryphon.. http://www.gopowerhungry.com/_upgrades.shtml
i just got my edge for $311 with shipping included from another website (http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/edge...olution-15051/).

PowerHungryPerformance charges you $25 for the upgrade of your EDGE into a GRYPHON. Basically they replace the software in the EDGE with their own version.

if you buy the gryphon from them, is $399.. so, for speed, buy from them at $399 + $30 for a custom calibration and have it ready.
for price, buy it at $311 in other place and send it to them for $25 to be upgraded and then pay the $30 for a custom calibration.

the custom calibrations for the gryphon are $30 each.

So I could save about $75 by buying the Edge then getting it re-programmed? I'll probably just do that because I don't need the programmer custom tuned until my gears get in.

399 - 311 - 25 = 63 you save $63... less whatever you spend in shipping to them... maybe $5 oe less by usps.
