Default Programmer help!

Hey guys, I have a 2005 5.4 triton with a edge evo programer and I don't know too much about tuning. I don't have the manual either. I just set it to my tires and fooled around a little. What's a good tune set up?? And can I set it for a CAI? Also how do I set it to a higher octane? Thanks

A gryphon is basically a edge on steroids. You send a regular edge to PHP and they change the casing to black and put custom tunes on for you.

I have the edge evo and I'm running the tow tune (which is level 2). I diffidently noticed throttle and power response. You can run level 3 ( but you have to use 93 octane or risk damaging your engine.). To run the CAI you need to get custom tunes. Running the CAI with the edge evo makes your truck run lean.

And it doesn't tell me to run 93 octane but I heard this before so I guess it assumes that I know to run 93?

It assumes you read the manual from front to back. Haha.
