Default Programmer??

So I am looking at getting a programmer. I have a 2006 f150 5.4 with flowmaster exhaust and k&n cold air intake. Many different programmers out there so all input would be appreciated.

Not to be a d bag but you probably aren't going to get any answers. This topic has been beat to death over and over again. PLEASE just use the search bar.

custom tune is the best for your money. I also have the gryphon from PHP. It makes the most out of your intake and exhaust mod.

There is a thread on this, about 50 pages long...its helpful but I found myself more confused after reading it then before. I also have an '06 5.4L with a Flowmaster, and I was thinking of an Edge, I just don't know anything about the custom tunes, I guess it depends on what you want it to do for your truck. Our setups are basically stock by programmer terms (anyone correct me if I'm wrong) I'm also kinda curious what people will recommend seeing as I have a similar setup

The intake like the OP has makes it beyond what a canned programmer can do. Custom tunes even on a stock truck are 1. safer and 2. better gains over a canned tune. Gryphon and SCT xcal 3 are the best $/gain programmers out there.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for. I've heard about the edge evolution and the diablo but this sounds like a way better set up.

Alright, I have a 5.4L with a Gotts Mod and 3" Flowmaster si/so exhaust and I'm about to mount some 33's. I was looking at the Edge Evolution. All I want is more power and smoother shifts while still maintaining 15mpg with the 33's. Think this is a good option for my setup?
