i just measured mine the way you did and its about 9 or 9 1/2 and the u bolt is 11 1/2

Thanks for this post.My buddy has a 2wd xlt F-150 and his didn't come with blocks either when he purchased the truck.Thot to myself hmm OK,why doesn't his have a block in the back like mine(F-150 xlt 4wd).So i am guessing the 2wd models didn't come with blocks as they do sit 2 inches lowers than 4wd models if i am correct?

Same buddy is gonna lift his truck and this thread has been very helpful for me and him.This will be my first attempt at doing a suspension lift.I have only done body lifts in the past,6 to date.So def let me know about the bump stops and the u-bolts as this will help me.
