Default Process behind changing door handles.

I've had these chrome door handles on my truck since I bought it. I've always thought they looked ridiculous, and now I really just wish they were gone.

Whats the process behind removing the exterior door handles and replacing them?

I have a screw cab, with keypad on driver door. And a chrome handle on the tailgate.

Its not that hard. Took me about an hour on the passenger side. Have to take the door panels off and there are two screw that are accessed through the door jam next to the handle under rubber grommets.

I've got to do this to my 2010 Screw. I've already replace the tailgate handle assembly.

I think I'm just going to plastidip my handles. They have the chrome covers on them, they are not the ford Chrome ones.

It's funny, I was thinking I might like chrome handles on my regular cab with digital lock, and here you are wanting black handles!
The grass is always greener, isn't it?

If they are the covers you can probably just use a screwdriver to pry them off. I had them on mine as well. They just popped off. They were held on by double sided tape.

I tried to pry the one on the tailgate off, the glue and junk it left behind wasnt appealing. I thought I removing it with goo-gone but worried it would mess up the plastic on my handles.
