I don't know anyone using the kits, but I personally wouldn't do it. When I was doing research before I got my lift I read a lot of reviews that said the Skyjacker shocks break down and leak.

I have a 2.5 in the front and the rear is factory and it sits dead level right now. I was looking for an option other than a body lift or a 6" suspension. Is levels and a full 6" the only options. I want a way to raise the whole truck 3".

I just installed this kit, with the struts and spring assembly for a 3" lift. I had the same problem initially with the UCA hitting. I had to buy a caster/camber kit to correct it. It sits a little bulldog now because the factory bolts wouldn't fit through the holes in the aal. So I used the factory 4x4 blocks for now.

Default I could be wrong but...

Can't we just install a 3" leveling kit and put a 3" block and an add a leaf and be about 3" all around? I'm new to lifting my truck so I could be dead wrong, please correct me if I am.

Edit: Readylift has the leveling kit and blocks.

You could, but the rear would be higher than the front...I did 3 in the front and 1 in the rear and it is level,

This will solve your problem. I love mine and I added a 1" daystar boost for a lift a little over 3"no rubbing but I can here my control arms grind at slow speeds when steering is cocked all the way. I also added a 1.5" rear lift shackles to even them out with 33's. You can look at my profile to see pics. I don't have any on my phone right now
