Default Power Tower

My buddy has a power tower on his 4.6 Vortec and it seems to give him quite a bit more power than stock. Has anyone here put a power tower on a 5.4 Triton? Do they make much of a difference? How much more horsepower are the supposed to give you, how does it affect the gas mileage?

Ahh, in that case I wouldn't waste my money. They don't do much but give you a headache.

I just ordered a spacer from a compay called Street and Performance electronics cheaper then the Airraid and they are supposed to be the frist ones to make such a thing. I will let you know the verdict when I get it.

I wouldn't mess with it, some times it pushes your intake too close to the fan, and you have to trim stuff, it even makes the mounts for your intake all jacked up, and it whistles. your better off spending the 100 bucks on gas.

the Street and Performance one does not say anything about the whistle like the Airraid does so it might not have that same thing. I'll let you know.
