don't know anyone that has a powder coated bumper, i am probably gonna get mine done on my blazer im building. every place could be different on their prices. it cost $2000 for me to get my brothers rails for his pool done and thats powder coat and sand blast. all the other places in the area wanted 1200-1500 for sand blast and 1500-2000 for powder coat. i might have gotten a small deal since i went with the powder coater that my company deals with but i didn't get that big of a deal as far as i know. if you are just driving on the street the powder coat will be fine, if your off roading at all the line-x will probably be better since thats what its made for (more abuse)

I have been checking on this as well. I called a local place and they told me it would be about $200 for the powder coating. You also have to get them sandblasted so it will hold and I was quoted $100 dollars for that.

I have only checked one place so far but there are a few more I am going to check with before I make my mind up.

I live up in the Everett area and I called Bulldog powder coating in Mulkiteo but they don't do the sandblasting so I called Alternative Blasting Corp in Everett.

I was told it would only take about an hour to sandblast both bumpers and it would take a few hours to powder coat the bumpers. There are a few other powder coating places around here so I am going to check with them before I make my mind up.

I got a quote for 2 bumpers here in canada and it would cost around 200 and approx. 100 dollars to sandblast both. So probably around 350 for whole job complete.

I powder coat a lot for my business and it isn't expensive. In the past I used to pay around $2 to $4 a piece for shelves, but that place was an animal accessory company and had a paint line for the cages they built. Now they closed to the public and the place I go to now is a minimum of $150 charge unless you bring a large amount to get painted, then you pay around $5 a piece. I get mag wheels painted for $150 a set, any size

i would never powder coat anything that could get rock chips. once powder coating is chipped water will get under it and make it peel. trust me ive been there and done it, never again. we use it all the time at work too, i try not to but sometimes we have to. just paint it or line x.

if you lived closer i could give the company we use a call to see how much he would be, probably close to the same or cheaper, not sure, whenever i have called him he usually gives me a good price, especially since right now my company has been giving him his majority of work.
