I used to have a avic d3 in another truck I had, it was great!!!! I kind of want to stick to the factory stuff for this truck i have now. I would not pay 1500 bucks either. I have just talked to a guy who works at the pioneer repair shop and he said IT CAN BE DONE!!!!!!! FOR ALL OF YOU WHO WANTED TO KNOW!!!!! All it takes is the right program in the radio unit itself. All the info that would be provided to the radio via the canbus communication, must be reprogrammed and hardwired to the radio unit. Maybe a pain, but I am on a mission!!!!! I will keep everyone posted!!!
