Remotes now unlock doors differently - why?
My 2007 XLT just started unlocking differently than it used to. It now unlocks all doors on the first remote button push rather than just the driver's door (as described in the owner's manual). Can anyone tell me why it changed and how to get it back to the original stock mode?
Thanks for any suggestions.

No info in my service manual or owner's manual. Have you tried another remote? Could it be a low battery or dirty contact making the remote send two unlock commands on one press?

You can change the settings to Unlock either the driver door, or all the doors with 1 press of the key FOB.
Hold the Unlock and Lock buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds and the marker lights will flash to notify you that the setting has changed. Make sure you're within range of your truck though. Repeat the procedure to change back and forth.

Thanks - that's it!
Thanks for the tip. It works as you described. Is this documented in the owner's or shop manuals or did you discover it yourself? Either way, thanks again from the city at the southern end of San Francisco Bay. (You gotta love the internet!)

It should work on an '05...
I came across this on a Dodge forum when I owned an SRT4. Just did an internet search for our trucks and figured it out. It's different for every vehicle, but most of them you can do this with.
