i have a 2007 f150 5.4 v8 and it is not the flex fuel and i wanted to know what oil everyone was using because i know the flex fuel take a different kind. so do you use a dura blend, regular, or full synthetic. thanks

 

run what the manual tells you to run on all 5.4's the semi-synthetic motorcraft 5w20

 

Personally I run Mobil1 full synthetic in both my cars.

I always run the Motorcraft 5w20

 

7 quarts and a filter is less than 20 bucks at walmart

 

motorcraft semi synthetic 5w20 (flex or not) and FL820 filter. And yes Walmart has the best price going on this oil.Matter of fact, its $1.25 a quart cheaper then any place else around here.

 

when you say semi synthetic is that the same as dura blend ?

 

what is dura blend? run the motorcraft oil...enough said
