Default Place to mount amp?

Where have some of you mounted your amp? I've seen people screw them in behind the seat but I've looked behind the seat and there's just that flappy carpet type material. How is that stable enough to hold the weight of the amp?

I could be wrong, but i believe people are simply cutting a whole in the carpet and mount it directly to the cabin wall. The BCM is also mounted on rear cabin wall.

So directly through the metal? I wouldn't mind doing that but I'd also have to seal the whole the screw makes..if I can avoid that I would like to if I ever need to remove the amp if I sell the truck

Im sure you could utilize velcro or some sort of adhesive so that you dont have to drill into the metal.

Mount it directly to the back wall. I'd you ever want to remove it you can dill the holes with some JBWeld if you like or simply some silicone caulk.

Not really sure if it will work, but maybe cut a 1/4" sheet of plywood and glue it to the metal? Than attatch the amp to it. I have no idea if it will work, or if there is enough room. I don't have subs or an amp yet, so I haven't had the chance to battle that task yet. Let me know what you come up with.

I'm getting a small Kenwood amp to power my door speakers and am hoping to mount it under one of the front seats.
