Anyone running this tune on their Edge/Gryphon? Just wondering what all it has done for your truck, good or bad experiences. And I don't mean for this to turn into a huge bash thread on PHP, I'm well aware of their reputation and customer service. I recently ordered a Gryphon and need a custom tune due to my mods. Anyone recently started using the 87 performance custom tune? If so how do you like it? Better MPG's?

 

I run the 87 perf tune, all the time. I gained probably 1 mpg more... I definitely gained a lot more power and awesome shifts..... I have a cold air intake and magnaflow dual exhaust.... 33 inch tires....

 

iv been running it for about a month now. i noticed right away that it shifts harder, and the shift points are shorter so it accelerates alot faster. i dont check mpg's so i couldnt tell you that.

 

Php has gotten there stuff together, I recently bought a gryphon what was locked and had to go through them to get it unlocked. I was suprised when I called them on a Tuesday and they answered first try. Called the day after and it was in the system ready for me to update it.

 

How much did that cost to do Nick?? I am on the last unlock on mine and want to get it custom tuned and reset

 

The last unlock? Do you have a sct? The unlock for the gryphon was 75$

 

I have an edge evolution. But it's already a gryphon. And yea the last unlock like how you can reset it 5 times. Mines just been reset the last time.

Yeah after talking with a few people, it seems as if PHP has gotten their act together within the past couple of months. Feeling a lot more at ease about all of this now.
