Default Performance tuners

Thinking of getting a performance tuner for my 2008 ford f-150 xlt. Yes I know they don't do much and help more for the diesel trucks then the gas. Any one have and any good brands. I was thinking of getting the edge evo cts.

I've been looking at getting one myself. Here's a article I found:

Edge evolution. Best thing I ever bought for the truck. I tow a few times a week, took it out once for a week and couldn't believe how much less power it had stock. If I didn't have the programmer I would have already sold it and got a 5.0 or ecoboost. Plus I'm getting about 16 mpg highway with 35's. can't complain.

they DO alot for your truck. I went with Bullydog GT (mainly bc i got one off Craigslist for a hella good deal) and I have noticed big differences. But a programmer is only 1 piece of the puzzle, you probably won't notice much unless you do other mods- Exhaust, CAI etc... I think I will be going with an Edge Evo at some point, I've just heard alot of good things about it.

i have the edge evo, love it but sometimes i wish i got the gryphon to eventually upgrade to custom tunes, but my truck is now pushing my traction limitation on L2 (any sand or wetness and she gets loose real easy ) and L3 breaks the tires loose on dry pavement which can get expensive running 91* and on tires too, but damn it is fun

Any regular edge evo can be converted to a gryphon. I believe you use to have to ship it to them but now they can do it thru email and all that I believe. There's just a fee. But please correct me if I said something incorrect.
