Default Pats... Or something else

I have what some may consider a dumb question.
If my truck is locked by pats... Would it still crank with no start? Or would it not even try? I have an 06 f150 XLT 5.4. I've been afoot now for almost 3 months because of this. No crank no start. The only new light is a wrench on the dash board. When I turn the key.... Nothing. Just the dash, but no fuel pump, and no crank. I've got to get to work guys. Please brainstorm for me. I need my truck to start.

helps to provide background on truck, codes, and in this case, exactly what your pats light is doing.

Seriously? It was a simple yes or no question. Will the truck try to start, crank, with the pats tripped... Or not. That's all I need to know.

It won't crank if the pats light doesn't detect a key that's known by the PCM

Yes? No? There is no simple fix
Any clicking going on?
If a PATS issue, generally, the anti theft light will be flashing
Damn straight, scan tool and a BCM body code test to verify possible U0140 code
My bets are on it lost it's key programming

Everything comes on fine when I cycle my key. But I don't hear the fuel pump h, and the starter doesn't engage. Not even a click. When I turn the key all the way to the start position, the relay clicks, and again when I release. That's everything. No crank, no start

You might not hear the fuel pump
Starter may be no good if you hear a click
I would verify starter voltage in start at the solenoid wire and go from there

Lets get back to PATS for a moment
The Red security light on the dash should be telling you something.
1) Normal Operation:
The theft light should blink every two seconds when the key is out of the ignition, indicating the PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) is active. Same if key is inserted but not rotated to ON.
2) Key Inserted and turned to ON
The theft light should go solid for two seconds and then go off.
3) Engine Running
The theft light should be off
Do steps 1 and 2 accurately reflect what your PATS system is doing? REPORT BACK WITH RESULTS

First step with a No Crank situation is to clean the battery connections - clean them again, they can look fine but a thin oxide film can prevent high current flow required for starting.
After cleaning, do interior lights stay illuminated during start attempt or do they go out and comeback on when you release the key? REPORT BACK WITH RESULTS
Wiggle test - after ensuring connections are clean have someone hold the key in START position while you wiggle the red and black wires, at the battery and as far down as you can safely reach. Keep in mind that during the wiggle test the engine may crank and possibly start so keep clear of any rotating components especially fan belts, they will eat you up. REPORT BACK WITH RESULTS
