Default Painted headlights!

Alright guys I'm attempting the headlight mod as we speak! I've done tons of research on it, I'm terrified ima ruin em haha but it's too late now! Wish me luck!

Good luck man the hardest part is taking the old glue off. I learned that using a heat gun is way safer and easier. I've done many retros and opened many head lights open.

By the way don't use silicon to glue them back. Youse butyle. Or window glue.

Holy hell that stuffs on there good! You can definitely tell they didn't want em coming apart

Lol that's the hardest part of this mod. Try to get one corner apart and work your way around. If the seal starts to get hard put it back in the oven for a few mins (rinse and repeat).

Got the first one apart! Man these things are hard to get apart! Working on number 2 now

Well both are finally apart and ready to paint the last one. I must say... This mod is a *****

Worth it to remove my last bit of chrome though!

Not because it won't glue it because if they leak or you ever need to open them you are not going to able to and With butyle rubber you can do it as many times as you want
