Ordering Tires
I'm thinking of ordering tires from tirerack.com and I'm a little confused on who will mount them. Will they supply a tire shop to mount them or will I have to find one?

I would check discounttiredirect.com as well. They seem to be cheaper once u include shipping which is free from them. Tirerack it is an additional cost. Most local shops will charge around 20 or so per tire to mount and balance.
When I checked with tirerack, and a local garage that sells tires, the garage told me they receive tires from tirerack and install them for $20 each, mount, balance, etc. The difference in price from tirerack with mounting, balancing, tax and shipping was even with buying them from the independent tire dealer and throwing in tire disposal besides. It was simpler just shopping for a garage in town and buy the tires there. They could put them on the same or next day. Shop wisely. Find find a shop that is friendly to installing tires that you bought on the internet if you find it cheaper to go that route. Don't forget the ratings and reviews. <$50 difference total is not worth the difference to me, esp. if you have any troubles down the road. And if you get lifetime rotation with the shop also. Check that out too. Those tires are not like jacking up a ricer and rotating those little tires! Bring in your online price and see how close the shop comes to matching it with mounting and that stuff added. Some independent shops with access to buying tires give better prices than the big tire dealers. Good luck!
