Default Odd issue with power windows

Hi! I recently purchased an '04 F150 and took it to a car retailer who even took out the seats to do an A1 job. Yet when I get my truck back the airbag light is on. It blinks 1 time then 6 times per sequence and then turns solid. So I'd like to know if anyone knows what that means and how to fix it.

Issue #2 is the power windows are being very weird. None of the windows worked except the passenger window would go down but not up. Then it randomly worked for 2 seconds to go up. Now none of them work except the rear driver side window, but all it can do is go down... Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Happy holidays too!

Option 2 might be your window switch. My window switch only rolls my drivers side front and passenger side back up and down. If I wanna roll my passenger side front or driver side back I lhave to reach for them and roll them down. By my switches will roll them up. Do the arrows on the window switches light up when you have your lights on?

The first thing I would is take it back to the retailer (?detailer?) and have them check the connections under the seat-it didn't do it before the seat was taken out-did it? Or..go have the code read and maybe it's just an undone plug under a seat. This may help you a little... http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/75...-blinks-2.html

as far as the windows go,everything i've seen on here points towards your master switch(drivers door) being either dirty or malfunctioning. all window controls go through this switch

Thanks for your help. I'll try disconnecting the battery cable and then disconnecting and then reconnecting all of those under seat wire harnesses.

Oh and when I took off the paneling at the base of the door jamb (where all the wires run) it was filled with water, wires were submerged. I guess the door wasn't shut tightly during a big rain the other day. I'm hoping that's why the windows are acting up.. maybe a the wires are grounding out.

MDJ the lights on the switch are not on any of the doors but the master switches light's are on.

Solved the problem with the air bag light. I was getting light flash code LFC 16 and it was due to one of the underseat wire harnesses not being hooked up.

For anyone searching for power window problems in the future know that mine were acting very strange IE only certain ones were working and it'd work only to go down but not back up - CLEAN THE ELECTRICAL CONTACTS ON THE MASTER SWITCH (drivers door). Fixed the issue, they all work fine now
