Default Odd increase in responsiveness

So we began our road trip Saturday morning. About 5 hours in, I was applying steady, light throttle pressure keeping cruising speed (70mph) on a flat stretch of highway. I noticed a slight bump like someone had tapped my rear bumper and the truck picked up noticeable acceleration after that. Throttle was much more responsive than normal, it oddly felt like it picked up 30hp. Oddest feeling in the world because it felt fine before that, it just got... better.

Not that I’d want to fix it, but anyone else ever experience that?

No, I have the opposite problem. How old is the fuel filter and other filters? Almost like it cleared something,,, maybe temporarily

That should've become active immediately after warmup though, not 5hrs into the trip

It's a Ford, sometimes you just have to roll with it.

That potatoe those neighborhood kids crammed in your tail pipe finally came out.. Lenn, you do know we have a button on the steering wheel that you can press .. so you can let your foot of the pedal while cruising down the highway...

Haha! That’s in another thread. Cruise control was cutting in and out.
