They even sent the updated tune files over before I paid for the update ($18) in good faith so that I could get 'em right away. Loaded them into the tuner, and re-tuned the truck. She's now tip-top, and running strong. HUGE difference. I highly recommend sending data logs to MPT if you're having trouble with any of their tunes. Before the re-tune, I also had an issue were my ignition timing was yo-yoing between 14 degrees and 34 degrees when going downhill with my cruise control still engaged - which has also been fixed. The engine RPM still dips around 70 km/h, but not to the point of it bogging down.

Overall, super relieved.
Sounds like a MAF scaling issue with that 4" intake.. You should still send them 1 more data-log so they can properly size the MAF to its larger environment..

Sorry to butt in but does anyone know if PHP accepts data logs? I know the gryphon has an option for it.

Last time I dealt with them about 4 years ago they did. But from what I understand they now have leaned towards doing more "canned" style tuning, at least for those of us who are grandfathered in that have the newer edge platforms they no longer tune..
It couldn't hurt to give them a call and tell them you want to send them a data-log to help refine your tune...

Yeah, I was thinking that too - even if it's just for peace of mind, haha.

Not pretty, but it works. I'll post a separate thread of the build pictures later.

Runs great, now that the tune's updated to accommodate it. Budget build. The flex hose and duct does exactly what this does:

Except mine cost about $40.

And the intake's modeled after an Airaid, but with larger diameter tubing. I'm not going to pay $500 for a plastic tube.

Did you tell SCT that you needed a tune to work with half the heating and plumbing isle at home depot?
