That sir is NOT good.

That's water/coolant in your oil. You either have a cracked head/cracked block/ or blown head gasket.

Has the engine been over-heated at any time? OR do you drive lots of very short distances?

Yes its normal, just condensation. Happens more in the winter time and especially short trips around town. Theres a few other threads on here about it also.

I have never experienced that kind of moisture without something being wrong with the engine...unless the vehicle is driven very short distances and never gets time to warm up.

I live in Wisconsin...maybe that's not 'winter' enough to have this kind of moisture build up.

EDIT: Apparently this is more normal than i thought...i've just never experienced it...

If it's not using coolant, you're probably alright. You may want to drive the vehicle enough to get it up to temp and burn off some of that moisture. Water is not a lubricant.

^yea i see it on the majority of vehicles up here in the winter, my job is changing oil. Some are worse than others. Like said if you aren't burning antifreeze, wipe it off and forget about it. Maybe WI isn't cold enough But its probably cause I work in a rly small town, tons of short trips.

Truck runs at normal range, no overheating. I did make a quick run for a coffee fix, so that would explain it
Thanks for the replies fellas

if you blew a headgasket you would be getting some sort of lights for low coolant. do you have coolant between add and fill on your resovior? if you do your fine.

my truck does that a little bit, not down the filler neck but mines definitely like that under the cap.

notice anything else wierd like low coolant? smoking?

pull your dipstick and look at that, if youve busted a head gasket your dipstick will have milkshake on it, if not it will be normal oil

whew... I thought I was the only one with peanut butter oil...

I have seen this in mine before too... With drops of water that fall off upon removal.
I would just add flour and an unbeaten egg, check back in 10-15 minutes.
