Default New Tires

I'm looking to get a new set of tires and I'm having trouble. First off I can't decide between the BFG A/T and Nitto Terra Grapplers. I also don't know what size to go with. I'm considering 305/60-18 or 285's. I have a AS 2.5 leveling kit installed on my 06 FX4 so I shouldn't have a problem with clearance. I would love to hear the pros and cons of the two tires and some pics if you have them.

I have the BFG Rugged Trial and find them great in the Michigan Winter. I've pulled several stuck vehicles and experienced almost no slipping on my end. They are quiet and with 28,000 mi on the truck they have plenty of tread left.

The BFG AT's get a lot of great reviews and recommendations. My only complaint with them is that they just do not look aggressive enough for me. The Nitto's are also a great tire with great reviews. If it were me I'd go with the Nitto's over the BFG's. Also on a 4WD with a leveling kit you can fit 35's.

Default Grapplers

I just put on a set of 325/60/18 Terra Grapplers. They were awesome in the snow and ice storm that just hit us here in KY! They look great and I have no problems with them rubbing even at full lock (mounted on 18x9 XD Monsters. '04 FX4 with 2.5 leveling kit)

One thing to consider with these tires is the Nittos are blackwall and the BFGs have raised white letters. I got 70000 miles out of my last set of BFGs and I like the raised white letters so I am sticking with BFGs. I have a 2008 F150 with a 2.5 inch leveling kit and I am putting on 305/65/18s on it today. I will try to get pictures as soon as possible.

Nice truck, those tires look great.
Thanks to everyone for all the help. I'm pretty set on getting BFG AT 305/65-18's. I'm hoping for them to go on sale early this spring. The best price I've found in town is $325 per tire mounted and balanced

When I've looked for tires, Discount Tire has always been 20-30 dollars cheaper per tire; in case you haven't checked there
