i gettting ready to put a lil thump behind the seat. Its not gonna be anything crazy just 800w amp with a single 10.. and still deciding if going to dvd head unit or just stick with my pioner i got..

 

i agree with you about only putting one sub. i think these guys with dual 12s is a bit overkill lol.. as for the unit, i wouldnt ever actually watch a dvd in my truck, but if you like the screen go for it... IMO, id stick with the pioneer one you have. youll spend some $$ on a lcd unit. not worth it to me, but if your an audio guy, the sky is the limit

 

no i not really aduio guy was thinking of trying somethign new... but think i gonna stick with reg head unit i like to keep things plain and simple 1 sub lil 10inch so wont kill me or others just sound nice

I have a single 10 inch sub and I think it sounds awesome. Since the cab is so small and its behind me you can really feel it.

ok got it installed... and the one 10inch sub is perfect for the truck plenty of bass and not over kill... i used to have kicker l7 behing the seat and that was way to much (set car alarms off in parking lots) and this new 10 and 800w amp does the trick with a pioner 1300 head unit nice clean and simple ill post pics tommmrow just gotta run black stuff over some wires to hid them i like the clean look

 

What sub did you go with for the 800rms amp?

 

i freind of mine got it i think its a local company over here its a ds 18 subwoofer

i dont think its a 800w rms i just says 800w on the amp so i guesing its prob around 300rms not the best with stereo stuff knowing my luck its prob a pos system but it sounds good for now and my freind hooked me up on price so i cant complain
