Default New Front Struts

I need to replace my front struts and I've looked at a bunch on eBay and it looks like I can get a decent set for not a terrible hit to the wallet. I want to do the preloaded ones so I can do it in the driveway without a spring press. Any ideas or recommendations?

Last time I looked for shocks I found Rockauto to be substantially cheaper than Ebay.

I'm gonna do a 2-3" level on it either with strut blocks or longer lift struts...From what I've seen as far as prices go, I can get struts and pucks cheaper than I can get lift struts.

I did Rancho quick lift loaded with Rancho 9000XL on the back and I love them. Leveled and I love the look. Highly recommended. And if you buy the struts and shocks there is a rebate going so the total is about 380 after rebate. Great deal!

I don't need to do the rear other than just replacing the shocks. I have RideRites on the rear and I can raise and lower the *** end about 4" and still not come close to the pressure limit of the bag. They are 8psi min to 80psi max. I keep them about 20psi for everyday driving. If I raise them to around 60psi for hauling my trailer, it raises the rear at least 4" unloaded. I'm more concerned about gettin it nice and level. It's a Lariat so I use it like a truck when I need it, but I try and keep it purty so the wife will still ride in it...lol She has minor cerebral palsy so I can't raise it too high cause she has a hard enough time gettin into now even with the nerf bars. Otherwise it would be jacked up at least 6" like my older F-150 was ( before I was married lol ).

You'll love them. I adjusted mine to full stiffness and I love the ride.
