Default Need some eletrical help please!

First off I love this site, now my dilemma. I put led amber turn signal bulbs in the front of my 06 screw and for some reason when using either left or right indicator they blink 2 or 3 times as fast. Hazards blink normal. Now I know with the standard halogens if it blink twice as fast one of your bulbs is most likely blew out but all of mine are fine and work fine. Just blink really fast lol. So a question I have is if I disconnect the battery and let the computer reset will this correct the problem? Any input and suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks, -Michael

LED lights take way less current to function than the original incandescent bulbs.

The flasher in the truck is going to react different to this new lower resistants in the circuit, causing it to flash faster.

Disconnecting the battery will not change this.

Thank you sir, any way you can think of to change this? Add a resistor in or something? I'm not good with electrical stuff at all besides car audio.

Or not. Led is so much better. Brighter, last longer, don't blow as easy and pulls less current. I'll live with blinking faster.

Yep, these guys are on the right track. Just Google LED load resistors and you should find what you need.

They also make an electronic flasher for LEDs, not for all models though.
