Default Need lug key help!

yesterday i went to get my tires rotated trying to squeeze the last bit of life out of them. was there for about 15 minutes and one of the mechanics comes in and says that they dont have the right key to get the wheels off, i tell him that mine is in my glove box. he says they looked there and couldnt find it. so i get home and tear thorugh my garage and find about 4 other keys but none are the right one. so im asking you guys if you know where i could get a spare or even if you know who makes theses lugs. they are a lot diffrent from ones that i have ever seen before.

like this? I can't imaging putting all keyed lug nuts on. If this turns out to be the case I might look for a new tire shop. yikes!!!!!

No kidding, I hope you didn't have to pay for 6 sets of keyed lugs when they installed them.

haha i bought the truck with the wheels on it already. when i saw those lugs i was like holy s**t. yea i wouldnt of had them put all those on. so will most hardware stores carry a socket like that? or will i have to order it? thanks for the help, that socket looks like it would work. if i cant find one locally i will just have les schwab get them off, and i can get a gorilla set for 75cents each.

12 points are pretty common since they fit standard nuts too. In my craftsman mechanics set all of the 1/2" drive sockets are 12 pt.

so your advice is to buy an incorrect size socket smash it over the lug nut rather than buy the correct socket? WOW!!! Maybe you should work that tire shop too.
