Default Need Help, Speedo Problem

Well, I got this...(see pic)

Where do I start?
As I was driving it just kept going, it was like a second hand on a clock, just tick, tick, tick all the way up, and now it just stays there with the truck on and off.

2004 Lariat, 4x4, 5.4L

Does that mean you achieved warp speed? But seriously. If I had to take a guess I'd say there's a short somewhere between the computer and the display. Now that could be in the wiring or in the instrument cluster. But my best guess is wiring issue.

You could try doing a gauge sweep on the cluster. When turning the key to the "On" position, hold down that trip odometer button.

If that doesn't help, it's probably what tareed94 said, and not about the warp speed lol.

I had a furl guage do this on a 2010 E350 the other day. I disconnected the battery for 30 min and plugged it back up and it reset everything and the fuel guage went back to normal.

Well, I don't have a trip button its the electronic thing, I tried holding buttons down but either didn't find the right combo or just didn't do something right all together.
I'm at work now (2nd shift) so I will have to pull the battery cables in the morning.

Oh and its not stuck at the top now, from what I can tell 65 is my new 0 and it seems to work using that as a base line.

You should have a trip odometer button just to the right of the odometer.

Correct. Yours has the reset button that clears the trip. Look up doing cluster sweep on that specific cluster
