What is this? It's located on the drivers side and as you can see, two wires are cut. This is on a 2004 5.4 FX4. Thanks!

It looks similar to a power steering pressure sensor connector. What parts is this connector near?

It doesn't seem like it would be for an O2 sensor. It doesn't look like that is a catalytic converter its going to.

Drivers side upstream O2 sensor. The catalytic converter is part of the Y pipe. It mounts to that bracket which is the shift linkage for your transmission. I know because I just swapped an engine on mine.

yep. the shift linkage is further back from that sensor. but that bracket for the shift cable is pretty big. when i replaced the shift cable on my 04, i couldn't get that piece of the shift cable out of the bracket and i had to take it off. also unplugged that o2 sensor to get it out of the way

Thanks everyone for the replies! I've been getting an o2 error since buying the truck, and just hadn't had the time to get after it. Hopefully splicing those wires back together will solve that problem. I'll report back with the results in case anyone else runs into a similar scenario!
