Default Need help deciding . . . tires

Ok I am shopping for new tires after my 64,000 miles later on Pro Comp T/A, one of my tires is starting to be bald

I either want to buy

35x12.5x17

Nitto Trail Grapplers
or
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO

I know they are two whole different tires, but that is what i am debating on, on which one to get. Any people who have them, mind posting some pictures of them.

People who have either really love them. I myself have the 325/65/18 bfgs and i love them, i got mine used with about 70% tread left and have had them for 15k and still look great. I will probabaly never go back to a m/t tire again, wasnt impressed with the toyo m/ts. i think you will enjoy either tire but if you need a longer lasting tire then definatley go with the bfg.

well i've heard nothing but AWESOME reviews on the BFG AT's so i'd say you cant go wrong there. but the nitto trail grapplers look sooooooo goood. its hard to say, i think i'd only get the nittos if you are actually doing lots of off road... in the mud

Well I live in a Rural Community and there are a lot of dirt roads that turn into deep mud when it rains.

I think I am going to go with the Trail Grapplers, not sure yet
since they will cost me $1,318 including installation, balancing, taxes and alignment

What do you guys think about the price?

and the BFG's cost me $1,245 at the same place including everything.

So would it be worth it to shell out an extra $73 for the Nitto's

Alot of my friends here at school have Jeeps. The majority of them run BFG ATs and love them. A few run BFG MTs and Pro Comps. I have a buddy who runs Nittos on his Jeep and says that they are a good highway all terrain tire. He has two offroad rigs and the nittos are on his DD Jeep. I can't remember what he has on his other Jeep, I want to say BFGs.

BFGs are proven tires, I would get them unless there was a big price difference.

Toyo Open Country A/T's last a long time if properly rotated and kept properly inflated
