Hello everyone, I'm new to the form and got a couple questions about getting mud grapplers on my 2wd 04 supercrew. I want to get 33/12.50/17r mud grapplers all the way around on my truck. Now I have a 2.5 inch HBS leveling kit. Now that solves the height problem, but what about the width? Would I need spacers or is it just impossible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2nd - Are you rolling on stock 17's or aftermarket wheels, if so, what offset?

...my personal experience from riding in buddies truck with that rubber (his were 35x12.5x17), Mudgrapplers are loud as all hell and wear pretty fast.

 

Stock wheels? They're probably rub suspension components, but maybe not. Aftermarket? All depends on the width and backspacing of the wheels.

 

They are aftermarket. Vtec rims from discount tire but can't figure out the backspacing. Th

 

Vtec rims usually high pretty high backspacing, which is good in this case. Find the specs on them or look them up and see all the specs for 17" wheels cut for the 6x135mm bolt pattern. I'd bet there's only one, maybe two it could be.

If you take one of the wheels off the truck the specs should be stamped into the casting as well. That way you'll know for certain what you've got.
