A throttle body spacer lengthens the throttle body. This creates a longer path for the incoming air to travel. By doing this. It allows the air more time to "expand" therefore aligning the electrons in the optimal configuration for maximum energy release during combustion. this change in in the "energy's focal point" often leads to HUGE gains in power once tuned correctly.

And it does it all for $29.99. Lol

That was sarcasm. TBS have been dyno proven to do a whole lot of nothing. Putting extra space between the TB and the intake manifold does nothing beyond make a whistling noise. No more air can get into a naturally aspirated motor and swirling the intake can cause more turbulence, causing funny a/f mixes.

Haha, I've also heard of people putting blocks in the rear to add rake, this simulates the down hill angle so the gravitational force exerted on the truck will be applied in the forward direction instead of downward, increasing gas mileage!
