Question Mod Ideas?????

Looking to mod my truck. 2008 XLT.

As you can see from the pics, It very much looks like a government truck.

I'm wanting The exterior to look factory. It doesn't have to look stock but it does have to look factory.

I can mod out the interior as much as I like.

So far, the only mod to the interior is a Kenwood DNX7180 in-dash GPS. Color scheme is dark gray/light gray, black/chrome.

If this was your truck, what would you do with it?

Check other threads, there are millions of these, that's why people aren't responding... And you didn't give any idea of what you want, we can write up a $100 mod or a $50,000 mod

I'm thinking maybe fender flares (flat black), painting the rockers flat black, maybe tying in the center console to the dash.

I don't want the exterior to be too flashy.

My last car was an '05 Lexus ES330. I absolutely LOVED the center console.

So, I've been thinking about how to completely customize the existing center console (that doesn't connect with the dash) by making a tie-in using the dash components out of the ES330. It would undoubtedly be a challenge to do it and have it look factory. But, I've got a big woodworking shop and lots of spare time.

I especially like the "soft open" feature on the Lexus cup holders and ash tray.

As for the Plasti-dip. I saw that other thread. I think I'd do that to the rockers. But, I think I'm still going to do the fender flares (Not wide at all). I've got a couple of small dents on the rear quarter panels just in the existing flares and I don't want to have to do body work and re-paint.

First thing I'd do is take whatever the hell that is on the door off! Then tint the windows, maybe a level kit, and new tires! Those are the things I would want done immediately to that truck.
