Default speakers

as for the speakers, i still have my factories and they are just fine. i had one of my brothers put alpines in his z71 with his sub and the factories sounded better. just put a jl sub in there adn have fun. a little bass makes everything sound better.
have you hooked up your ipod? i have mine sitting in my glove compartment b/c i control it through the alpine face, best invention ever but you dont have the same quality as you would with a cd.
my opinion about lifts is dont get them unless your making a south texas hunting truck. i know there plenty of people that love them, but you lose power and mpg. then you have to buy bigger tires and more power by means of chips and just spend more money. just get a leveling kit

JL audio. It maybe expensive. But you will never be unhappy with anything you buy from them. Memphis is good too. JBL. My best advice. Is stay away from buying amps or subwoofers from bestbuy, circuit city, or stores like them. Go to car audio stores for those things. But buying speakers like door speakers are fine from them. I have had pioneer speakers from bestbuy and they surprised me. I have two amps, jl audio 300/4 and also jl audio 1000/1 I love them both. Awesome equipment. In my truck now I have an Alpine 07 model radio with a my 1000/1 powering one 12in memphis sub. its an M3. Its great for me. Its can go boom if i wanted it. But plays really nice quietly and hits the notes how i like them. For my door speakers i have the stock ones with no amp. and on my deck i have the high pass filter on and up. Which really helps alot.

Leveling kit I have also searched out the forum on these as well. A lot of post's on this topic... I do have one question though, when it states that I'll be able to go up to 35" is it mean like a "California lift"? Basically it will fit 35's all day long until you go over a rut then you'll scrape the fender well / front bumper, etc? Thanks for the all the compliments on the truck, I do share WXMCPO's sentiments as far as the color goes.

You won't have to worry about hitting the fender well or the front bumper. You might need to trim a little off the front valance but thats it.
