Actually, you get a 12 month/12K mile warranty on all Ford/Motorcraft parts. Still not great, as mine have typically taken a crap after a bout a year and a half, after the warranty period has expired.
Replaced mine 3 weeks ago with a duralast autozone unit... The lights are a different shade of green on this unit and it looks cheap... I also noticed that my passenger side switch no longer lights up. I'm not sure if the new switch is causing the other switch to not light up... I'm gonna switch the old one back to test this theory out this weekend... Either way, I DO NOT recommend DURALAST as a replacement. It works fine but it's not the right shade of green which bothers me.
I noticed the different color as well but it really isn't that off. I'd still rather pay $56.99 for it with a lifetime warranty than twice that amount for the cheap ford ones. And is your window lock on? When you lock the windows from the main switch it turns off all the others lights on the switches?
I bought mine from ebay. I did a little searching and most have had good luck with off brand (non oem) switches. Granted it has only been a month, but it seems to work fine. My buddy has had his 06 for probably 4-5 years and never had a single problem with his window switch. Some have better luck than others.

I was reading this thread the other day and was just about to head down to Autozone and pickup a new one. Instead I figured let's try cleaning it real quick... Well I took it apart and wow! The contacts were all black! So I sanded them all clean and put it back together. Amazing difference! Windows go up so smooth by just lightly pressing the switch. Before I had to hold it for a good 10 seconds pressing really hard to get them to go up. Thanks for the help, love this forum and the help!
