I'm looking at leveling my truck as well, and generally it's just a piece of steel that sits between your coil and frame, that's it. You can go Pro comp, RBP, whatever, you'll pretty much obtain the same outcome, just with a different price tag based on the brand. You can even get some fancier ones, especially if you plan on doing it yourself. Have you seen the Rancho Quicklifts? There's a video via youtube, looks easy for anyone to do. I plan on doing the level myself as well, I heard it takes anywhere from about 45 minutes, to 2 hours.
Also, in regard to the 3", I was looking into that as well, but I've been hearing some negative feedback, don't know if it's true or not. Any feedback?

I got my truck 4 years ago with 22k on it.. now with over 106k i havent had a problem with a 3" level so we put one on are other f150 and not one problem but we have 5.4 4x4s and i had some problems puttng a 3" on a 4.6 it was to much for the axles they popped the boots off after new boots holding up great still im told

Yeah, see I have the 4.6, not the 5.4 so I'd be a little concerned with the 3" just because I'm doing it myself, and I don't want to run into any additional issues my first time around. The 3" looks nice though, and I heard you can run 35's too, just with the occasional rub. I guess I'll go 2.5" and stick with the 33's. Thanks!
