My 35s didnt rub on stock rims ones i put my others on for my lift kit they did backing up at lock with 17-9 4.5 backspare... an i do everything my self too

I put a 2 1/2" leveling kit from topguncustomz.com on a 2004 Titan I used to have. Maybe $80? I also added an optional 1" block and ubolt kit for the rear for an extra $50 or so. I didnt want a perfectly level look. Just a hair higher in the back.
Topguncustomz.com fabricates their own leveling kit but also sells several other manufacturers kits as well. I found it to be a good website. Lots of choices, lots of info, easy to navigate and vehicle specific. Just make sure your stock front shocks will stay within their travel tolerances. I know the Ranchos on an FX4 are ok. Not sure about the others. Otherwise, pretty simple to install.

I have a day star which is a 2.5 inch lift and unlike most others it is a composite material so that it doesn't rub and grind. I have had it on there for over 10,000 miles now. My truck is a 08 with 43,000 miles. And it gave it the perfect height. It's the 5.4 v8 4x4

What the hell is there to rub or grind? If you've got rubbing and grinding going on, then it's not installed properly.

I'm just saying what I heard from other installers, and people who have metal leveling kits. Between the coil and the mount on bumps and turns there can be grinding or rubbing. Because they could be installed great and raddled apart, Not trying to bash other brands or who ever installed. Just simply stating facts.

Word. Well... they bolt to the coil-over, which is bolted to the shock tower. Regardless of what it's made of: steel, aluminum, or unobtanium, I don't see how it might rub or grind.

Check out the adjustable Bilstein shocks. I picked up 4 new ones, raised the front 2in and improved the ride! No more bed hop or steering wheel hop. There a quite a few others here that have them on here...another quick search pull up some pics.
