I bought a 3 inch levleing kit on ebay.. when it arrived i measured it from top flange to bottom flange its measures 1.750" why is this????? or is that how it is supposed to be??

 

that sounds strange, maybe they sent you the wrong one. but still, i've never heard of a 1.75" spacer. any friends around with a 3" one that you can measure?

 

shouldn't measure 3 inches???? or does the amount of pressure it applies to the springs make up the rest??? i have no clue first time i have really messed with car suspension always worked on bikes!!!

It seems to me that in order to get 3" of lift you need 3" of spacer. I think that they have sent the wrong kit somehow. I have not lifted my truck, and I don't intend to, but you can't get 3" out of 1.75" no matter how you slice it.

 

to me it should measure 3". i just ordered a 2" kit last night from ebay to. i'll see what mine measures when it gets here.

no its not going to measure 3" it adds what metal is on your truck as well in which will give you a total lift of 3"
