Default Leveling question..

I know that if I add a brush guard I need a 2.5" spacer. But what if I'm only going to add a bull bar? Is that enough wieght to need a 2.5" or can I get away with a 2"?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

A 2" spacer will be fine.

im new to this. But why do you need a 2" spacer if you plan on getting a bull bar. Is it to fill the void that the tow hooks will leave behind??

My truck has the autospring 2.5 kit and a westin bullbar. The front is a tade higher then the rear.

It has nothing to do with the bull bar. He is asking if he needs a larger spacer giving the truck more lift because of the extra weight of the bull bar and in turn lower to truck slightly. He wants the truck to be level after he adds the bull bar.

A 2" leveling kit with a bull bar is almost perfectly level with the rear, same as no bull bar.

A 2.5 leveling kit is needed if you have a bigger full brush gaurd, or dont mind the front being alittle higher then the rear.

A bull bar adds little to no weight to the front end so you'll be fine with either a 2" or 2.5" spacer. Personally I'd go with the 2" because a 2.5" spacer will leave you nose up just slightly. I know because I had a 2.5" spacer on the front of mine prior to going with a 6" suspension lift.

Thank all of you for your help. I'm going to start looking for a 2" leveling kit now.

This is a kit a few friends of mine use and they love it. I will be getting this lift also.
