Default Leveling Kit and FPDM

So I finally got around to installing my HBS 2.5" leveling kit yesterday...I also decided to check on the FPDM that everyone seems to be having issues with. The amount of corrosion was pretty crazy when I started taking it off and I found a crack along the entire backside. So I took a ratchet and tapped on it and here's what happened.

I'm glad I went ahead and checked this out...thanks to all the good information that is available on this site.

Damn man good thing you did check it, it's in bad shape, who knows how much longer until it got water in there and fried it or something, wouldn't be good!

Fuel Pump Driver Module...I didn't think mine would be that bad, but with 120k miles on the truck I guess it's not surprising.

The FPDM is under the spare tire correct?

Correct, it's above the spare tire (you have to drop it - two 8mm bolts holding it). I've taken mine out and cleaned it up. My dad's by luck failed two weeks ago. Along with it, it blew his fuel pump fuse as well (something to keep in mind).
