Default Help with Speakers

I am wanting to get some new speakers for my truck but with there being so many different choices I wanted to get some opinions. Do you have aftermarket door speakers? Did you do components in the front and coaxial in the back? I am looking for some speakers that have a good range and are able to push out a little bit of bass. I thought about adding a sub but don't feel like messing with all of that. I also considered putting an amp on some aftermarket speakers to get the full potential, but not really sold on that idea. Share you thoughts, brands, and possibly what you paid/where you got your speakers please!

I just started my install today. Alpine SPL-17LS 6.5" Components in every door They were like $150 a pair. My subs should be in tomorrow, i got Alpine SWR-T12 12" subs in a nice box that tucks under my backseat. Those speakers were $599 each....a little pricey but they are bad ***! I've always used Alpine from day one and they have never steered me wrong!

I didn't go with component speakers in the front. I didn't feel like a would gain enough for the added expense.

Here is a list of what I put in my truck.

2 pairs of Alpine SPS-517 door speakers. $100 per pair on eBay.

2 Alpine SWS-10D4 subwoofers. $150 each from onlinecarstereo.com

1 Alpine MRX-V70 5 channel amp. $300 on eBay.

1 Alpine MRX-M100 mono amp. $300 on eBay.

1 Alpine RUX ****. $25 on eBay.

JL Audio dual amp kit. $275 from Car Toys.

Probox with Line-X finish. $150 from Probox.

2 sets of High-Low converters. $25 each from eBay.

2 small batteries. $79 each from Texas Audio.

25 amp breaker with digital readout. $100 from Car Toys.
