Default Leveling kit?

I have been looking to get my truck up a little so I can get some bigger rims/tires in there. I have a 2wd so im not looking for anything extreme. About 3"-4" is all I would need. I have been looking around and have found a few leveling kits that lift it 3". How does that effect the ride of the truck?

Thank you in advance for any and all help

Markus

Don't go with a 3" spacer, a 2.5" spacer should be the MAX

Why 2.5 vice a 3? Also would a spindle lift be better?

The 3" kit creates even worse cv angles, which will cause them to wear out quickly

Would doing a spindle lift be a better option?

What about ball joints? Or are they related.
