Default Leveling Kit

Ok guy I saw a lot of questions out there (by searching on this site) on leveling kits that gave me all the information I needed to decide I was going to buy a Auto Spring kit for my 04 F150. The question i have is how necessary is it to do a front end alignment on the truck afterwards and how long can I wait. I have a place I can get it done for a good price but they are only open every other Saturday. I plan to do it on the weekend they are open so it would be at least two weeks until I have the alignment done. How bad will that hurt the truck or is the alignment even that necessary?

Yeah you'll need to get an alignment eventually. I don't think it will hurt you right away but you'll start noticing that the tires will start wearing quicker if you don't get an alignment.

I am guessing the will start to wear on the outside more then the inside ?

I never got an alignment until the 30K service, which was roughly 8K after I got the spacer...I had no problems.

No, none that catch my eye, but to tell you the truth I never really look at them that closely.

When I first had my leveling kit installed I had it aligned immediately, but it was such a small correction that I could have probably gone for quite some time without getting it done. That's not an endorsement that you shouldn't take care of it immediately, but that you should probably be alright with waiting until your preferred shop is open for business.
