Default Level kit help!

Hey guys I'm in the middle of installing a level kit in my 07 supercrew and I can't seem to free the spindle from the control arm. Everything is loose and I've sprayed with penetrating oil but it just won't break free. If anyone knows any tips I would really appreciate the help! Thanks!

There should be a flat spot on the spindle where you can smack it with a hammer. You have to give it a few good whacks, but it'll come loose. The bigger the hammer, the better...

Agreed! I did mine last week and the driver's side needed one good smack. The passenger side was more stubborn, but gave way after a few good ones.

Same response here, hit the thing like a man I used an 8lb sledge and it just took 2 or 3 "taps" Oh, be sure and bungie up the control arm so that it doesn't slam down tearing your brake lines......

Got the 3" level and rear AAL installed. Not much fun rolling around on a concrete driveway but I got it done and I couldn't be happier. Got new ATX Teflon wheels and 295 70 18 terra grapplers. Minor fender trimming was needed but not much. Pics are stock then with lift then with wheels and tires.

Looks good. For the record I would take the concrete driveway over the gravel pit I call a driveway! Try kneeling on one of those bad boys..

Very nice. Big difference for 3". Now, time for bigger tires. :-)
