It does and its alot brighter, the ones I had didn't fit cuz the bulb was too long. So I bought some that had a very short bulb

What did you get and where from? I'm having this "too long" problem and can't find a viable alternative because of the angled assembly.

DOT approved for what the bulb was intended for, meaning the plate must be visable withing a certain distance. Those blue or purple lights will not cut it; anywhere.
