I'm pretty sure I'm gunna paint my chrome cap too, what did you use for it and how is it holding up? I also want to paint the chrome ring that surrounds the gear shift selector and also the chrome stem at the bottom of the shifter. I'm thinking of using that Plastidip stuff that I've been seeing on here.

I have some self-etching primer and I have the clear. What I also have is a rattle can with my exterior paint color match (Dk. Blue) in it........wonder how those few pieces painted to match my truck's exterior color would look, hmmmmmmmmmm
