Thought I'd throw up a couple of new shots of the truck after the fender flares were added and a really good weekend detail.

Thanks for the compliments, I'm pretty happy with the way it looks. As for the vent visors they're the AVS in-channel visors. I wouldn't have the ones that stick onto the outside. I hvae had these on the truck since basically the day I bought it 18 months ago and haven't had any issues. I've also never had anyone say anything about the in-cahnnel visors messing up their window motors.

I do all my own detailing. I posted my procedures in the Detailing section, very time consuming, but well worth it to get the final results.

The most recent detail job was done using a PC and it made things alot easier on my shoulders. I previously did it all by hand and it made me really sore at the end of the day, of course I'm double your age so that had alot to do with it as well.

I don't know if there's a quick way to detail our trucks and to do it right, but when I did it by hand what I liked best was Meguires 3 step process. It was a paint cleaner, sealant and carnuba wax. I think it did a really good job and shined it up pretty nicely. I think the thing that made the difference for me this time was that I used a couple different scratch and swirl removers that also helped polish the paint. Then I used a really good sealant and then came back the next day and applied a coat of carnuba wax and a final detailer. Also don't forget to hit those wheel wells and shine them up. The easiest thing to do for them is to wash them really good and then just spray a cheap tire shine product in there.

Feel free to ask any questions.
