I had a Lincoln truck I had so much in to and to this day I just wish I would have kept it over my Limited... Keep it. If it runs good why not, still looks good. Drop some money into it and you will be happy again!

What newer Ford are you considering? The newer F-150 models, with the exception of the 6.2, make more power and are more fuel efficient than any of our 04-08 models. And they have significant improvements in powertrain and drivetrain engineering. However, they are more complicated with direct injection and other mechanical parts so their repair costs will more than likely be more than what we would pay.

Personally I like the look of our generation more than the 09+ models, but I really like the thought of a 6-speed tranny and the Ecoboost motor. But your truck looks fantastic and I think it would be a shame to let her go. I like to hang onto my vehicles until they are driven into the ground.
Thanks. It's not paid off yet but I don't owe too much on it. I was thinking of an 08 or newer. Just an upgrade. I'm going to keep mine though. I can't get rid of it. It's my first truck and all the work I've put into it

The newer trucks are nice and I'd love to have one, but when you see the sticker price, the older model I have doesn't seem bad after all. Lol.

Yeah I really want a Raptor or an FX4 but I'm worried I might regret it once they finally get redesigned.....does anyone know if that's due to happen in '14 or '15?

According to Ford Inside News, there'll be a mild update in '14. I can't imagine how much more they can improve, they are already awesome trucks. With the exception of a 4-speed gearbox and cam phaser issues, our 04-08 generation F-150s were already ahead of their time. So you can imagine how the '09+ generation is even better. I think the 6.2 models will increase power with the possibility of different multi-valve heads and a minor increase in power for both the Coyote and Ecoboost but all of that is speculation.
