Default Your Experience With FFV

So I was doing some research and found that the 8th Character on my VIN is V which means my 5.4 Triton is E85 capable. I've been doing some research about this and still sit on the fence. I have an E85 station right in town but what are your experiences with it?

Does it affect towing, dirt buildup in the engine, is the cost to efficiency ratio worth it? Any opinions and experience is much appreciated.

I've been doing the math and from the looks of it I'm saving like $5/month if I'm lucky. Doesn't really seem that impressive to me.
